Biography

Mrs. Foluke Grace Akinwande has over 30 years’ experience in finance working with top manufacturing, commercial banks, Insurance company in Nigeria and Consulting. She graduated as a top student with Distinction from Yaba College of Technology and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She has garnered considerable expertise in financial management and analysis through professional training as a Chartered Accountant, from relevant training programmes in several leading institutions including Euromoney as well as on the job training. She was the Head, Financial & Regulatory Reporting Sterling Bank Plc, a position she held from 2006 after the Banking reforms till 2020.

Prior to joining Sterling Bank, she held controller and analyst positions with Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc and Evans Medical PLC (Glaxo) respectively with experience spanning across Finance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Treasury.

She is a highly accomplished and result-driven professional and currently the Chief Operating Officer of BDI Professionals.
